The team held a meeting with the District Governor to share insights about Sultanbeyli and to better understand the dynamics of obesity in the district.
The IM-EQ Türkiye Team has completed all activities under Work Package 1 (WP1) with the final workshop held in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul. This closing session consolidated the participatory work carried out with community members and the Mahalle Meclisi, focusing on identifying, discussing, and validating local health assets. By merging individual maps into a single, community-endorsed health asset map, the workshop produced a grounded and collective understanding of neighborhood resources, establishing a concrete foundation for the next phases of the IM-EQ project.
The IM-EQ Türkiye Team has successfully completed the first workshop of Work Package 2 in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul. Building on the community health asset maps established in WP1, this session focused on identifying specific leverage points to improve health equity in the Mimar Sinan Neighborhood.
